VISION

To enhance the quality of care, profitability, and all relationships built through the practice of dentistry. My mission is to support dental health professionals to integrate effective clinical, financial and management policies with the interpersonal qualities of service and integrity for the benefit of all concerned.

University of Miami Graduate School of Business Administration, Miami, FL, completed an MBA with a specialization in Health Care Administration, 1999, with a GPA of 3.8. Case Western Reserve Univ. School of Dentistry, Cleveland, OH, DDS, 1976. Ohio State Univ., Columbus, OH, B.A. in International Studies, 1972.

EXPERIENCE

1993 to present: Consult with dental offices on hygiene department profitability transitioning to acceptance of long-term restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Nonsurgical Periodontics, and Practice Management

1994 to present: Affiliated with University of Miami Medical School Oral Surgery and General Practice Dental Residency Program. Practice Management and Periodontics Clinical Instructor and Lecturer

1985 to present, CEO, Seminar Leader/Trainer for Dr. A. Steven Gutter & Associates--Designed, produced, and presented over 600 seminars internationally focusing on GP Periodontics/Hygiene, dental insurance, and practice management. Created and marketed training materials (videos, tapes, workbooks, etc.) Consulted with various dental product manufacturers on sales, training, and protocol creation
